What is Takuvik ?
The International Research LaboratoryTakuvik (IRL, ex-UMI) was created in January 2011 as a partenership between Université Laval(UL - Canada) and the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS - France). Takuvik's research program aims to better understand the impact of current climatic and anthropogenic environmental disturbances on Arctic marine and terrestrial ecosystems and geosystems.
